Accessibility statement
Last updated: November 2, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use compasspdf.com and Compass PDF Editor, including people with disabilities.
The website
This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and the Israeli standard IS 5568 that is based on them. It uses plain HTML with headings, text alternatives for images, sufficient colour contrast, visible keyboard focus and no time limits, and it follows the light or dark setting of your device. It works with screen readers and with browser zoom up to 200%.
The app
Compass PDF Editor is built with standard Windows controls: it can be used with the keyboard, its buttons have names for screen readers (Narrator, NVDA, JAWS), and it follows the Windows light and dark themes. Some tools that work by drawing on the page, such as shapes and freehand ink, need a mouse, pen or touch.
Known limitations
We have not yet had an external accessibility audit. If something is hard to use, please tell us and we will fix it or find another way to help.
